Biography
Dr. Emeel Hourani is a consultant orthopedic surgeon specializing in joint surgery and sports medicine in Amman, Jordan. He diagnoses and treats musculoskeletal conditions and injuries in adults and children at his clinic on Ibn Khaldoun Street (Al-Khalidi Street).
He completed advanced specialty training in arthroscopic surgery in Austria. He is a member of the American orthopedic surgery association and the Jordanian Orthopedic Association.
His focus is knee injuries, shoulder injuries and sports injuries, including:
- ACL reconstruction
- Treatment of shoulder dislocation and arthroscopic shoulder stabilization
- Arthroscopy of the knee, shoulder and elbow
- Knee, hip and shoulder replacement
He also treats fractures, pediatric orthopedic conditions and deformities, and performs hand, foot and peripheral nerve surgery.
Every treatment plan starts with an accurate individual diagnosis, with particular attention to post-operative rehabilitation to restore movement and support a return to daily life and sport.
